Dead Leaf
Abstract
A leaf once green in morning light,
Danced with the wind, so full of life,
It held its branch with steady might,
As if untouched by time or strife.
But time will fade its vibrant hue,
No care can make it stay or last,
It falls when life has reached its due,
A silent whisper of the past.
So we, like leaves, must also go
We live, we fade, we drift away,
Yet in each fall, new life will grow,
From endings born, a brighter day.
